A Tropical Frontier de Tim Robinson

A Tropical Frontier

Autor Tim Robinson
en Limba Engleză Paperback
The Florida Prairie, 1860, cattle country. War looms, but to the settlers living along a jungled, tropical creek, it all seems very far away. For Becky Hackensaw, there are much more pressing matters, such as providing an education for her six children, but where to find someone willing to brave an uninhabited wilderness overrun with wild animals, alligators, poisonous snakes, and bloodthirsty mosquitoes?

Notă biografică

After a happy childhood, Tim Robinson was surprised in his late teens by severe mental instability followed by a schizophrenia diagnosis. He faced years of dealing with the difficulties of mental illness, but discovered that creativity, especially in a group where he could receive supportive feedback, was helpful in his recovery. He created artwork, but in the end, focused on creative writing as part of his healing process. Writing stories and poetry, and getting feedback from other artists and writers has provided him with a way to share his inner struggles with others in a healthy and productive way.
