The name of the village is Mardle. It is a plain working village and many of the people who live there are dependent on some form of agriculture to make a living. In farming there are more bad times than good times and for some it is still a hard way of life. Country people are resilient and make the best of what they have. As do the inhabitants of Mardle, and they all have a story to tell.
