Heidi always thought her older brother Felix was kind of a jerk - but she never wanted him dead. Maybe someone else did, though...?

The police are callling his death an accident, but Heidi has her doubts. Too many things about the night he died are... suspicious. His not-exactly-grieving young widow, Elena, tells one story. And the couple's friends and family tell another. Felix was ten years older than her, and, well, mean, so Heidi isn't crying buckets. But she is an aspiring writer, and if there's one thing she can't resist, it's a juicy plot.

So, teaming up with Patrick -- Elena's teen brother, and just about the only person snarkier than Heidi -- she launches a DIY murder investigation. The only problem? Most of the people in her family make the suspect list...
