Willow Calarook, scion of the Calarook coven located in Astoria, OR, knows her time running her apothecary is up. She was on coven leave, something witches can choose to do to go out and spread their wings. The only problem is she never told anyone in Mt. Shasta that her stay was temporary. Now in her final few months she has a friend circle that she will miss dearly. Not to mention she is closer than ever to her long time crush, Evan.
Evan Myers's life is literally in shambles. Sure, he has a stable job as an HR manager and his loyal dog, Belle, but he's also going through a divorce. He also just found out magic is real, his best friend is a wolf shifter, and his love interest is a witch. He figures he will handle it all just like everything else. Take it in stride and act like the pressure isn't getting to him.
When Willow tests out a new unlocking spell, despite warning to be careful with it, every thing in her and Evan's life changes. Because that spell just unlocked Evan's witch magic that had been blocked unknowingly. Now she doesn't know how to look him in the eyes.
With three witches working closely together, there is pressure to form a coven. While Willow wants to help teach Evan along with the help of their friend Camille, she also longs for her foggy coastal tight knit community in Astoria. Creating a new coven in Mt. Shasta, means giving up her role of Calarook scion.
