Poet Sam Muldoon is a musician, artist, singer, and beat-boxer. Born out of the unending creative flow of his many art forms comes his first collection, whittled down from over three thousand verses to create this definitive volume-a cornucopia of lyrical, rhythmical poems of sonnet style and pure abstraction. Muldoon takes his cue from such writers as E.E. Cummings, Alfred Tennyson, and Shakespeare, as well as ancient literary works and scriptures, but adds his own modern twist. He gives detailed insight into the subjects of contemporary romantic love, spirituality, and everyday life, encouraging readers to aim high in every endeavor. In this collection, there is also the ongoing theme of "be here now." The right time is not yesterday or tomorrow but this very second. Readers will discover an abundance of creative inspiration within the written words of Muldoon and also poems to warm the heart, raise a smile, or merely motivate a brief pause for thought. Embrace the beauty, and live for today.
