When an emotional connection challenges decades of domestic stability, one man must measure the true cost of fidelity, regret, and personal longing.
Al is in his sixties, retired, and comfortably settled into suburban Johannesburg life with his wife, Kimberley. When he forms a quiet, intense bond with a younger woman named Courtney, Kimberley delivers an unmistakable ultimatum: sever the tie or sacrifice his marriage. Forced into a choice, Al attempts to bury his feelings, guided by the conflicting, satirical inner voices of Ozzy Man and Doppelgänger during his therapy sessions with Missy.
Yet suppressing desire proves far harder than making a promise. As social gatherings, family visits, and unresolved guilt converge, Al discovers that walking away from Courtney has not erased the connection. Confronting the sorrow of your changing face across years of compromise, he must decide whether peace at home is worth the emotional debt of a fractured heart.
