Having recently quit her job as a strategic consultant in Sydney, Eva, lounging on her sofa and pondering what to do next, was suddenly reminded of the ex who, somewhat jokingly, said that she'd make a good dominatrix. On a whim, she googled 'Dominatrix Sydney' and soon found herself being interviewed at Salon X. A shopping spree ensues for stiletto heels and a PVC outfit. Before she knows it, Eva is in the BDSM dungeon where all fantasies become a reality.

You Will Please Me charts Eva's rise to becoming one of the most sought-after dominatrices worldwide. From golden showers to foot fetishes and fisting, Eva uncovers the expansive world of kink, exploring the psychology that drives people to extreme sexual practices. Principally, she outlines the power dynamics that exist in the dungeon, and how they likewise appear in our real-world interactions. Why is sex work the only industry where women earn more than men? Why is a sexually liberated woman so scary? And why are women expected to put men's emotional needs first?

Building back from heartbreaks that shattered her sense of self and finally coming out about her job to her parents, Eva discovered how to truly own her power - personally and professionally. Whether you're curious about kink or simply tired of shrinking to fit expectations, Eva's story is an invitation to live unapologetically and thrive outside the rules.
