Jonah dreams of a best buddy, a four legged friend to to help him share Jonah type of adventures and his dream is answered when his family receive an early Christmas present, a lively, red-headed puppy called Ralph. Before long, it is not just Jonah, it's Jonah and Ralph who beat pirates, build forts and solve detective missions. But when it is time for Jonah to start school, they are interrupted by strange rules, dim shadows and bully beasties that they must help each other defeat. If that isn't enough, Jonah knows that something scary is coming. But what is it and what must they do to beat it?
