Simon Jones was a simple man. He was not the kind of man who believed in magic, or wishes, or dreams coming true. He was a humble janitor by trade at an elementary school in a small Midwestern city. He did believe in hard work, and making the best of things, and getting a job done by putting one foot in front of the other until a job was complete. He believed in showing up for work, and putting in a full day's work for a day's wages...no matter what the job. None of that daydreaming about a better life. He already had a good life, and a loving wife...and they were both happy and well satisfied...until the day Simon met a mysterious, magical being who offered to grant his wishes...when he found that his life could never be the same...
