Ralph Frazer of the Bar Z has control of the local sheriff in "Posse of Outlawed Men." The scheme seems unstoppable until Montana Pierce sets himself in opposition to Frazer. "Rust Off a Tin Star" concerns Yace Metten, a long-time town marshal in Salt Springs whose authority has been questioned in recent years. When Yace narrowly escapes being killed, he realizes that age is catching up with him.
