"... a haunting tale of how a man who hunts killers devolves into a killer himself." -NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Reed Farrel Coleman
Nothing is personal. Everything is calculated.
At least, that is what Frank Cappelano tells himself.
Once a decorated FBI special agent, Frank had the mind, training, and access to become one of the Bureau's best. Instead, he walked away from the law.
It started as research. Just doing the math and keeping the world in order.
But at the center of the equation are people who remind Frank that life is full of contradictions, and there's a difference between the truth and what we remember.
Why I Kill is a chilling psychological portrait and a prequel to Veritas, the first novel in author Charles D'Amico's award-winning Neil Baggio suspense series.
