This book was written to show that it is not the child's fault if a parent has a drinking or drug problem. For the parent or family member out there, if you do have a drinking or drug problem, please get help. The words you say to your child during one of your drinking times stay with your child forever. Don't let them have to carry your addiction around with them. For yourself, you have a illness and you deserve to get help and get healthy.
