Recenzii

I highly recommend these brilliant books!
This book is excellent, it covers some really big ideas, but is easy for children to understand, very accessible and has really appealing illustrations. I'd definitely recommend it.
Straightforward, no nonsense, good advice. This book will give you and your child the opportunity to talk about the importance of good mental wellbeing with strategies to adopt.
All throughout, attractive child-friendly illustrations by Sarah Jennings brilliantly complement the serious message content... All in all, an excellent roadmap through the minefield of young children's thought processes.
It covers positive self-image, emotional intelligence, relationships and mindfulness, in a factual unemotional way that explains the concepts clearly and practically, aided by colourful cartoon characters who share their thoughts, giving excellent prompts to stimulate useful discussion.
This is a perfect book to use as a starting point for discussions with guidance for parents/carers, and its aim is to help children develop self-awareness and improve their emotional literacy.
In this fantastically illustrated book, Molly Potter has provided a resource for parents of young children or teachers placed in the earlier years of school enabling an opportunity to start discussing the many emotional challenges people face in society.
With my pastoral role in school, I know that this book will be useful with many children for a variety of reasons. It will take pride of place on the shelf in my office... and will be used frequently to help reassure children and also to help them understand what is happening in their brains.
'What's Going on Inside my Head?' helps young readers discover practical ways to keep their minds and bodies in good shape [...] Fun illustrations and straightforward explanations help children learn to develop healthy habits and great day-to-day strategies for staying mentally well, forming a solid foundation for well-being now and in the future.
An invaluable, straightforward guide to developing healthy mental habits. [...] The lively and amusing illustrations help to engage the reader and the scenarios provide prompts for discussion and the explanations are perfectly pitched and yet in enough depth to provide many a useful reminder to adults.
