Thomas G. Long recently retired as Bandy Professor of Preaching at Candler School of Theology, Emory University. Previously he was professor of homiletics at Princeton Theological Seminary. He has written a best-selling homiletics textbook, several biblical commentaries, and a book on Christian funerals.
