In this book, Bobbie shares her insights into how some life experiences, that is, other people's words and actions can leave us disquieted in our spirits, fearful and wounded in our emotions and distorted in our estimation of ourselves and others. Anger is a natural God-given emotion that allows humans to express some of those feelings of displeasure and discomfort.
No human is exempt. The effects are not exclusive to any age, race or gender. Therefore, the assertion that the black female is the angry one is a misconception.
Bobbie will explore some of those misconceptions then attempt to share bits of a black female's heart when it comes to issues of anger, self-esteem and forgiveness.
Anger is all colors, all people. All can exhibit and express this emotion. All must seek to forgive our offenders and be at peace in our spirits. Peace that can only come from forgiveness. Forgiveness that can only come from a transformed heart. A transformed heart that can only come from God.
