'Weebie's Confession' is the story of a man's life. Change in life is not usually a thunderbolt from the blue or a glorious epiphany but a slow erosion of cynicism. Weebie spent his life running from something or searching for something and living with the guilt of being the sole survivor of a shipwreck. Upon arriving at the monastery he gradually begins to trust Father Sheldon and the telling of his experiences becomes a healing process. His emotional pain finally left him the tranquility of the monastery settled his soul and brought contentment to his existence.
