Notă biografică

Maria Alonso Alonso holds a BA in English Philology and another BA in Hispanic Philology, both earned at the Universidade de Vigo. She is currently working towards her PhD, after having completed an MA in English Studies and an MA in Applied Linguistics. Jeannette Bello Mota is a PhD candidate at the Universidade de Vigo, Spain where she works as a researcher and teaching staff in the department of English, French and German Philology. She is currently researching towards her PhD thesis "Ethnicity and Gender in Hip Hop Culture within the United States". Alba de Bejar Muinos is a predoctoral researcher at the Universidade de Vigo, where she has also worked as an adjunct teacher. Member of the research unit "Feminario de Investigacion Feminismos e Resistencias", her research centers on the fields of Diaspora, Globalization, Citizenship, Gender and Transnational Studies as they pertain to the literary. After completing her MA in Advanced English Studies at the Universidade de Vigo, Laura Torrado Marinas is currently working as a researcher while she finishes her doctoral thesis on the Old English elegies. Her interest in the intersection of language and culture has led her to complete a series of critical articles and participate in different conferences as part of her postgraduate research activity.
