There are moments in life that change us like a shifting tide beneath our feet, where we can be moved and washed away by the strength of the pressure or we can firmly stand on the solid ground placed beneath us to hold us together during the storms that come our way. In April of 1999, Leslie had one of these moments when all seemed lost. Each passing day life as she knew it was being taken away. With a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis at the age of twenty-eight, life wasn't turning out as planned. Blessed with a beautiful family of three children and a loving husband, this perfect life would soon be shattered. The dreams that she had dreamed for her life had all disappeared.
