The main theme of the book Water Resources, Employment, and Flood Control is to analyze the role of water resources in the advancement of economy in developing countries like India. Limited of rainwater drainage through riverbed and utilization of stored water in industrialization, irrigation, and drinking purposes is the key initiatives of this book. The West Bengal Province in India is river-oriented.
