For over 30 years Arturo's restaurant advertised its modest claims to "Decent Italian Food." No frills -- with a sense of humor -- wine glasses were labeled "Arturo's Cheap Wine" and beer mugs read "Warm Flat Beer." Renowned for his large portions and small prices, as well as his sense of humor, Art "Arturo" Belge entertained and fed thousands of patrons. This book is a collection of essays written for a Syracuse, New York, monthly tabloid called Table Hopping, dedicated to the restaurant scene around town. Art's only condition was that his column wouldn't have anything to do with the restaurant scene around town... And thus it was this book was born.
