Patrick J. Speelman, Ph.D. (2000) in History, Temple University, is Visiting Assistant Professor of History at The Citadel, Charleston, SC. He is the author of Henry Lloyd and the Military Enlightenment of Eighteenth-Century Europe (Greenwood, 2002).
