"Waiting Games delivers a bold and timely rethink of strategic patience in Asian security. By blending Indo‑Pacific debates with deep Indic and Sinic civilizational insights, it offers sharp, original perspectives on managing regional tensions and shaping Asia’s long‑term strategic future.
Bringing together diverse scholarly perspectives, Waiting Games offers a rigorous, multidimensional examination of “strategic patience” in Indo-Pacific geopolitics. Spanning history, borders, nuclear strategy, and regional institutions, the volume illuminates how India, China, and their neighbours navigate rivalry and cooperation. The essays blend conceptual depth with empirical insight, making this an indispensable resource for scholars, policymakers, and strategic analysts seeking to understand the logic of restraint shaping Asia’s evolving power dynamics."
