In fitness, as elsewhere, balance and harmony are the essentials. And in this regard Dhurva Yoga is unique among all forms of physical activity. The Dhurva Yogic philosophy acknowledges excellence but this recognition is aspirational, not competitive.It is uninhibited in its appreciation of the human form while avoiding the destructive obsession with physical appearance. A thoughtful practice almost magically integrates and harmonizes physicalism with spiritualism. Modern Yoga expresses the wisdom of millennia yet still remains an openness to new forms and new ideas. If not a perfect system of exercise, Yoga is the closest thing that we mortals have thus far devised.
