Notă biografică
Born August 22, 1878 in the western Bohemian town of Domazlice. His major inspirations were Berkeley, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, and Otokar B?ezina. During his lifetime he was known primarily for his philosophical works. While only part of Klíma's oeuvre was published before his death, numerous manuscripts were edited posthumously, among which were his stories and correspondence. Many manuscripts he destroyed himself. Klíma died of tuberculosis on April 19, 1928 and is buried in Prague.
