"Vignettes" is a collection of short-short stories in a variety of styles ranging from experimental to conventional, some mundanely surreal, some with a lighthearted silliness, some with quite eerie undertones. A down-on-his-luck doctor, an exhausted dad longing for the past, a brave woman struggling just to leave her home to go to work, a retired painter experiencing the boredom of old age, a game show set in the near future, and a couple of Elvis impersonator sightings... are among the characters and events that make their appearances in these stories.
