Vigiles

Out of the darkness, the dark watchmen came. They pretended to love truth and order but wreaked havoc within her most sacred walls. She was the bride waiting for her groom, but so few stood to fight for her that her appearance, instead of vibrant, was sickly and beaten down. But there was hope in the coming of her groom, who would right every wrong done to his bride.
