With degrees from Amherst and MIT, Jack Vernon is happy living with his wife in a retirement community in suburban Boston.He sings in two choruses, attends movies, the theater and other readily available activities.He enjoys playing golf, has traveled a good deal, and has vigorously and successfully rehabbed from several injuries and ailments.His wife opined that he became obsessive in pursuit of some of these activitiesand suggested that he take a seminar on creative writing.Prescient.
