vampires have been quietly integrating themselves in to human society for the past thirty years. They have promoted movies, TV serials, and books portraying themselves as a misunderstood segment of society with alternative dietary needs. These are not the blood sucking monsters of the 50's movie fame, but sophisticated business people who have established their own legal blood banks and enterprises. An abnormally large number of missing persons in Northern Florida, arm twisting by the FBI and a lucrative contract with the local vampire court encourages Dagon Investigations to apply their special skills to the problem. Just as one vampire mess is closed another pops up with a rival court from the home dimension claiming Jacksonville court turf. A sorceress, rollerblading faeries, a werewolf with personal problems, slayers, vicious lawn ornaments, cement monkeys, and demonic toys all add to the fun and adventure.
