"I am not worthy that you should come under my roof..."


A soldier earns his freedom after serving in the Roman Legion. He meets a poor but strong-willed young man, who persuades Acasius to make him his servant and guide. In Jerusalem, the young man's sister joins and makes it a trio. They make Galilee their home. It's also the home of a Jewish mystic named Yeshua, a man of great healing powers.
