Unfaithful Ghost
Autor Isobel Cunninghamen Limba Engleză Paperback – 6 apr 2027
Some love stories don't end-even after death.
Bonny has never married, and when she finds love later in life-all-encompassing, passionate, ethereal-she dives in headfirst. She quits her job at a local Montreal hospital to spend more time with Paulo at his home in the countryside and begins to imagine life at his side. But when he suddenly dumps Bonny, ghosts her when she seeks answers, and promptly marries someone else, she struggles to pull herself from the tunneling chasm of despair and heartbreak that opens underneath her.
Years later, a phone call from a local notary changes everything: Paulo has suddenly died, leaving Bonny the cozy house and beautiful land where they spent so much of their time. What's a lady to do? This one packs her bags and moves in, facing stiff opposition from Paulo's widow and startling communications with the ex himself--in ghost form.
With a local, roaming cat serving as her go-between to the spirit world, Bonny tries to help Paulo gain eternal peace while grappling with her own mortal situation. Things may or may not be what they seem, and as Bonny faces challenges from within and without, she wonders about her future and whether she can ever truly forgive, heal her heart, and move forward.
