Recenzii
“In this wonderful, moving, and exquisitely written memoir in essays, Jagoe delves into the complexities of living in-between places and cultures, a state that challenges the very notion of home.”
“A rich and compelling memoir, written in stunningly beautiful and fluid prose. This elegantly orchestrated collection is also a propulsive read; entranced by Jagoe’s story, I inhaled it in one sitting.”
“Jagoe’s casual brilliance and singular vision will leave you permanently changed. She deftly interrogates the complexities of origins and alienation, reminding us that home is less a geographical locus than a necessary habit of mind, a willingness to pay attention to how we are all radically connected to other people, to ecosystems, and to history.”
