Having barely escaped the destruction of his home when he was a mere child, Ulfus has been living in the brutal deserts of Chani. His trials have made him strong and his father has taught him of battle, but nothing could have ever prepared him for the curse that would be cast down onto him for slaying a wizard. Now he must travel through the war-torn country of Aragoth. Driven by his ever more disturbing dreams, Ulfus has no choice but to face the coming darkness head on, or to be another casualty in the seemingly endless conflict that has paralyzed his homeland since before he was born.
