1. Two Wheels, Two Roads is Howard Cato's powerful memoir of growing up in North Oakland, discovering BMX, surviving the streets, and finding a new road through family, faith, perseverance, and service. From childhood bullying and BMX racing to incarceration, surviving seven gunshot wounds, paralysis, fatherhood, entrepreneurship, and eventually returning to the sport he loved, Howard tells the story of choices, consequences, second chances, and redemption. His journey ultimately leads him back to BMX-not only as a rider, but as a mentor, team builder, and community leader committed to putting bikes in the hands of young people and giving the next generation another road to travel.
