Magic squares are square arrays of numbers in which the numbers in each rows, column, and diagonal add to the same sum. In this book I have made magic squares into puzzles. In 99 magic squares, size 5 by 5, I have erased approximately half the numbers, and it is your task to calculate the missing numbers. You are given the magic sum of the rows, columns, and diagonals. My magic squares differ from standard magic squares in that I have defined 10 diagonals for the 5 by 5 magic squares. For all of these magic squares, the center number in row 3, column 3, is the average of all the numbers in the magic square.
