Notă biografică
Anne Van Winkle is a Tunisian crochet pattern designer and math teacher, based in rural Nebraska, US. She started to learn regular crochet in 2016, but in 2019 discovered and fell in love with Tunisian crochet. And she's never looked back!
Anne started to design Tunisian crochet patterns in 2021, specifically shawls and blankets, which she sells through her Ravelry page. Her teaching background means Anne likes to offer a very accessible approach to Tunisian crochet, and she enjoys demystifying the craft to support beginning and intermediate Tunisian crocheters. Anne loves using simple stitches and smart techniques to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces that make cozy accessories in anyone's life and home.
Since becoming a designer, Anne has published patterns in WeCrochet magazine and with the yarn supplier Sewrella. She regularly partners with independent hand-dyed yarn companies, particularly Hue Loco and Arcane Fibre Works, and suppliers such as KnitPro. Anne has a doted following on Instagram, due to her gorgeous color palette, and has amassed over 45,000 followers over just 3 years.
