Belle Campbell writes stories that arrive in silk and leave a fingerprint on the glass. She grew up in Westchester County, where the lawns are quiet, the money is older than the conversation, and everyone learns early that a pretty room can still have a locked door. As a child she wandered libraries the way other girls wandered department stores, falling in love with mythology, magic, adventure, and hidden worlds. Her first job was in fashion, and she later spent years as a beauty influencer: fittings, floor sets, the language of what a woman wears when she wants to be believed. Then came fifteen years in marketing and communications-learning how power dresses, how a room is staged, and how a story is sold. In Washington she sat on host committees for charity galas, the kind of nights where philanthropy is a spectator sport and everyone is wearing their best lie. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and American University. She is the founder and Chief Publisher of BelleVerse Press. Before this novel, she wrote the Waverly and the Pirate Prince trilogy, beginning with her debut, Treasures Untold. She also founded inner Sanctum, a retail destination for main characters, romantics, and modern-day ritualists.Belle lives with her loved ones and her Holland Lop, Lucky Bunny, who has never signed an NDA and remains the only creature in the house permitted to chew the corners of first drafts.
