Unable to cope with the loss of her family, Dr. Garner leaves her comfortable life in Fort Worth, TX heading north until she finds herself in a small, practically non-existent, town in northern Montana. Finding work as a waitress in a small diner, Nicki Garner tries to hide from herself and her loss. Ultimately, she finds herself torn between guilt and love.
