For, even as the friends now stand trial for murder at the castle of King Demonicus, power-hungry soulborn Alasdar has laid claim to Babu's lordship, and with the mysterious and sinister Green-Eyed Man, plans no less than treacherous, full-scale revolution. But when Babu's crimes are brought to light, the king proves merciful. When sentence is passed, with it comes the chance to redeem themselves: they will compete in the Grand Tourney - an epic gladiatorial event of valor, strength and honor, which brings together the strongest warriors of all the kingdoms the Sarcascan continent.
