"The Possibility"
This story is set in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, on the day that Heroem will decide whether to blow his brains out at midnight. Feeling trapped and miserable, he locks eyes with a young woman whose gaze shatters something inside of him. His confusion grows as the haunting look forces him to reconsider everything in his life. Time starts running out while he desperately searches for those mysterious eyes in every corner of the old city.
"The Initiation"
Saturno, an elderly Puerto Rican man, gets dumped by his life partner and thrown out on the street. With nowhere to go and no family to turn to, he is forced to confront the doubts that have hindered him throughout his life. He will have to decide whether to make peace with loneliness in order to reclaim his true self.
"The Curb"
Puerto Rican teenager Marcel Giusti feels trapped as he anxiously awaits his HIV test results. During the suspenseful wait, he reevaluates his lifestyle and considers his options given the possible outcomes. Will life give him a second chance? Will he give it to himself?"
