Kathryn O’Shea-Evans is a Colorado-based journalist with a long-standing habit of walking through other people’s houses and asking a lot of questions. She is the author of Horse Country, with a foreword by India Hicks; Merry & Chic: Your Most Dazzling Christmas Ever, and Alpine Style (all published by Gibbs Smith). Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Architectural Digest. She has delightedly “trespassed”—with tickets—to dozens of storied houses across the globe, everywhere from Château de Chambord in Chambord, France, to the shotgun cabin in Tupelo, Mississippi, where Elvis Presley was born.
