Trauma-Informed Educator: Free Spirit Professional®

Brianna Young, Ed.D, is an educator, trainer, and systems leader dedicated to transforming how schools and organizations understand and respond to trauma. In her work as a systems strategist and professor of education, she partners with schools and nonprofit systems to build cultures of safety, belonging, and collective care. She has worked with leading organizations, including the School Crisis Recovery and Renewal Project, Education Reimagined, and more. She holds a master's degree in trauma and resilience in educational settings from Concordia University and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Moravian University, where her research explored trauma-informed approaches in organizations. She is the author of The Trauma-Informed Educator: Mindsets and Practices for Resilience, Connection, and Change.
