Since 2020, the Biennale Bregaglia has brought together artists and their works in the vibrant landscape of Val Bregaglia, in the southern part of the Swiss canton of Grisons. The region has been an important route for centuries, where architectural, cultural-historical, linguistic, and climatic threads converge.
Published to coincide with Biennale Bregaglia 's 2026 edition is a diary-like illustrated review of the open-air exhibition. Images and texts are interwoven in a continuous dialogue. Flashbacks and personal memories evoke emotions connected to the various locations and the works and installations they hosted. This results in an immersive narrative shifting between memory, observation, and reflection. Profiles of participating artists, a poetic text by Spanish-born Swiss writer and artist Begoña Feijoo Fariña, and an essay by curator Anna Radaelli round out the volume.
