When I was going through Anorexia, I desperately wanted to hear from or speak to someone who had recovered. Someone who could relate to me, someone who had experienced what I was going through and who could reassure me that everything would be okay. Someone to talk to, someone to inspire me to recover. A positive resource to refer to and take inspiration from. Unfortunately, that book didn't exist. I recovered nonetheless without any medical or psychological help, and ever since my recovery I've wanted to help others and provide them with the one thing that I really felt I needed at my darkest hour - hope and empathy. I hope that this book helps you to understand your eating disorder better and the causes behind it, inspires you to recover, makes you realise how amazing you are and that you are not alone. Most importantly, to know that recovery is absolutely possible - no matter what - and more than that, it's absolutely what you deserve.
