Little Norton teaches children that not all ghosts are spooky-some can be friendly, too. Norton cares for a grand Victorian mansion and a collection of peaceful, gentle ghosts. Everything is perfect in their quiet old house... except for one day each year, when the mansion is transformed into a haunted house filled with scary decorations, clanking sounds, frightful costumes, and chaos. This year, Norton decides he has had enough and sets off to find a more peaceful Victorian. But in the rush to leave, the tiny caretaker forgets one very important thing: his ghostly friends. When strange whispers follow him and shadows begin to stir, Norton must solve the mystery of what truly makes a house feel like home.
