Various tactile materials can be used in the techniques of interweaving, looping, twining, knotting, netting and coiling, from yarns to hemp, nettle string, leather, fabric strips and fine rattan to polythene tubing and plastic packaging tape. This book introduces the ways to embellish these structures with found objects, and metal tubes.
