In the spring of 1942, the clouds of war were covering the continent of Europe. Slowly and surely, the United States had been pulled into the fight and after December 7, 1941, the war had become a full blown World War. Army Aviation recruits were piling into the San Joaquin Valley in California where the lives of young men and women would be changed forever.
