en Limba Engleză Paperback – mai 2023 – vârsta până la 10 ani
Introducing "The Yet Pet," Dr. Theresa Tan's first-ever children's book that packs a mighty punch of persistence and fun! This clever tale is designed to help little ones tackle even the most hair-pulling frustrations with a sprinkle of humor and a dash of determination. Watch as young minds unlock the power of a single word, "yet," to fuel their growth and resilience. Life lessons can be tricky, but "The Yet Pet" simplifies the art of perseverance, making it a piece of cake for kids to understand. Perfect for parents, teachers, therapists, and pint-sized readers alike, this delightful page-turner will have everyone chanting "yet" as they reach for it again and again! Theresa Tan, Psy.D., M.Ed. is a licensed clinical psychologist and once-upon-a-time kindergarten teacher. She initially used YET to empower her students, but soon found it to be a game-changer for herself as well. In fact, Dr. Tan used YET to help write this book and get it off the ground. She struggled along the way (many rejections and this being her first time making a book). But can you imagine the irony of writing a book about YET and not using YET yourself? She couldn't let that happen! It was Dr. Tan's dream to get a picture book published and so she used YET to get it done.

Notă biografică

Theresa Tan, Psy.D., M.Ed., is a licensed clinical psychologist and former kindergarten teacher who first discovered the power of "yet" while helping her young students navigate challenges. She soon realized that this little word could be just as powerful for adults-including herself! In fact, she leaned on "yet" throughout the process of writing, illustrating, and publishing her very first children's book. Despite plenty of challenges and rejections along the way, she kept going, reminding herself that she hadn't achieved her dream yet. And what better way to bring a book about perseverance into the world than by practicing what it teaches?
