The Write House

Autor Stuart Fabe
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 19 mai 2022
Set in Putnam County, Indiana in 1920, The Write House is an intriguing suspense story featuring Delano and Caroline Engel who are among the leaders in the surge of civil aviation in post-World War 1 America. Upon flying their Curtiss Jenny aeroplane, they spot a strange, forgotten house whose roof tower stretches high above the treetops. They buy the home and soon learn about its former owners and a strange book possessing the sum knowledge of the Tamberg Magical Dynasty. "There will be turmoil," the book warns, and that turmoil takes the form of the Engels' infant being kidnapped, and the heroic efforts that they and a determined police detective must go through to safely rescue the child.

Notă biografică

Stu Fabe never thought that he'd ever write a novel, let alone eleven. Throughout his professional career in Cincinnati, Ohio, he worked with troubled youth in the juvenile court system and then switched gears to conduct charitable fundraising campaigns for the Children's Hospital, the Jewish Hospital, and the Cincinnati Zoo. Raised in an artistic family, Stu said goodbye to Cincinnati and his corporate career at age fifty-five and moved to the countryside just north of Greencastle, Indiana. There, he and his life partner, Marla, created art and traveled throughout the Midwest exhibiting in art shows for ten years. Then, he settled into photographing the Milky Way and began writing adventure novels. He's been a country fella for over twenty years now, still writing, still photographing the night sky, while also building one of the finest private antique camera collections in America. It's been the merging of all of these experiences that brought him to write Moments in Time.
