The seven deadly sins, which include lust, lying, and bitter contentious anger, among others, test Captain Fairbury's deckhands. A life altering event creates a misunderstanding between Charlie and Joe when the Nicolette sets sails and she must stay behind. While Fairbury's deckhands are being tempted, the old worthy captain must determine who he deems is worthy to pass on the captaincy of his ship.
