Vic's play is not going well. With a playwright who constantly changes the script, a cast of prima donnas, a confused set designer, and a loopy costumer, Vic doesn't think things can get any worse. Then, Mrs. Marshall, the wealthy investor and doting aunt of the playwright, is found dead on the stage. When Detective Malone shows up to solve the case, everyone is a suspect. Will the show go on, or is it truly the worst play ever?
